Honorary President of the Club of Rome Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker visited Kyiv at the invitation of the Ukrainian Association of the Club of Rome. The visit of the guest of honor, who belongs to the TOP-100 world thinkers of the present (along with Paul Krugman, Joseph Stiglitz, Daniel Kahneman, Tim Berners Lee, etc.), took place shortly after the General Assembly of the Club of Rome in Cape Town.
On November 8, 2019, Ernst Ulrich von Weizsäcker was a speaker at the panel “How Climate Change Will Change Your Business” at the Kyiv International Economic Forum, and the following day he gave an extended presentation at CEO Club Ukraine for fifty entrepreneurs and journalists.
The attention was focused was on climate change and a new Enlightenment in the spirit of the Club of Rome Come On! Report, resource efficiency, green energy and energy savings, as well as global risks, economic incentives and new investment opportunities.
