Anders Wijkman, Co-President of the Club of Rome and Graeme Maxton, the Secretary General of the Club of Rome were invited to speak at the Kiev International Economic Forum “Ukraine and The World in The New Economic Reality”, held on March 5-6, 2017 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Graeme Maxton took the floor at the plenary session “Global Challenges of The New Economic Reality” as well as contributed to the panel discussion “Sustainable and Inclusive Growth Strategy”.

Anders Wijkman participated in the panel discussion “Ukraine in the New World. Route To Success” and as a keynote speaker in the Public Talk.

At KIEF the Ukrainian Association for the Club of Rome had a chance to present the Ukrainian edition of “Reinventing Prosperity”, a notable report for the Club of Rome by Graeme Maxton and Jorgen Randers.

Viktor Halasiuk, President of the Ukrainian Association of the Club of Rome, and Viktor Vovk, Vice-President of the Ukrainian Association of the Club of Rome, also took part in KIEF.

Kyiv International Economic Forum (KIEF) is a prominent economic event in Ukraine and Eastern Europe, dedicated to economic policy development, business facilitation, and innovations. In 2017 KIEF gathered 1350 participants, more than 100 speakers from 20 countries, and 150 media representatives. Within 2 days KIEF conducted 20 panel discussion and 10 roundtables, hi-tech exhibition and unique cultural projects.
